Glamping in the White Mountains

Hi guys!

First I’d like to apologize for my extended absence from this space. Totally unplanned, but with the constant motion of summer adventures, it became unavoidable (somehow I’ve only been home a day and a half in the last month?!).

I’m currently wrapping up one BIG road trip from the U.S. north Atlantic coast, up through New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and beyond to Newfoundland! It’s been such a whirlwind of beautiful evenings spent watching the sun set on the ocean, the most picturesque fishing villages and wharfs, and too many enchanting coastal trails to count. Day One of this trip was spent in the coziest of ways, at a cabin in Huttopia, a campground nestled in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.

Many of Huttopia’s sites feature classic canvas tents, some dotting right along the lakefront that the property sits on. I knew I’d be spending plenty of nights camping on this trip, so we opted for an even more “glampy” option : one of their chalets!

Our chalet was cozy enough for the two of us, but has ample space if you are traveling with family or friends - there’s a bedroom downstairs, a loft upstairs, and a bedroom upstairs with two twin beds. There’s also a fully functioning kitchen and bathroom - because nothing is cozier than a hot shower after a day on the lake, right?

Each chalet and campsite has a fire ring, as well, which we made sure to take advantage of! A sunset stroll down to the lake was the cherry on top of a perfect evening.

Huttopia has countless amenities on hand, from their food and coffee camper, to the giant pool, and volleyball and basketball courts! It’s easy to see how this place makes for the perfect setting for a family to relax in for a weekend.

I can definitely see us coming back here for the upcoming leaf peeping season (anyone else shocked that Fall is only a month away?!). Beyond their property in New Hampshire, Huttopia has locations in Maine and Quebec, as well!. The Quebec location looks super dreamy, already scheming how to make a trip up there! If you’re curious on booking your own cozy adventure with Huttopia, head to their site here.

Now that I’m back on the grid - for a week, at least! - get ready for lots more blog posts on what I’ve been up to this summer.
