My Go-To Ski Wear Brands :: FERA

Coming to you with a new series of posts, sharing how to be chic on the slopes with my favorite ski clothing brands! As a self-identified snow bunny, I’m always on the hunt for ski clothing that can 1. FUNCTION in the snow, and 2. Look cute!!
Unfortunately, most brands out there either provide technical aspects without the flattering fit, or have you looking stunning on the slopes…but your wallet may be crying because of it. Meet FERA, a brand out of Southern California that’s been manufacturing modern skiwear that perfectly blends fashion, quality and performance since 1978.
At the time of FERA’s inception, founder, Betty Tung, felt that the market was lacking a more glamorous take on skiwear. Inspired by the golden era of skiing in the 1960s (when skiers dressed to seamlessly - and stylishly - go from the mountain to the après ski scene.), Betty found herself heralding in a new age of women’s skiwear. Today, the brand maintains its effortlessly cool SoCal roots, showcasing pieces that are accessible to all that want to head to the slopes - whether you’re cruising down Black Diamonds or hopping down the bunny trail, these pieces surpass all the tests - all while keeping you looking cute + staying cozy.
My favorite pieces from this season’s collection are ::
Kate Parka (comes in six color ways), is made with a Vegan down-like polyfill and Durable Water Repellent (DWR), 10K/10K Waterproof breathable lamination fabric. This puffer is short and a bit boxy - ideal for my fellow short gals!
Brooke Stretch Bib (multiple color ways in solid + stripe versions). I’ve never worn a bib before but this is the one that has made me a convert! The high waist not only provides ample warmth but also sculpts and shows off your figure - NOT something you find in so.many.ski.pants. 4-way stretch that moves with you, and the same fabric + water resistant (WR) finish, 10K/10K Waterproof breathable lamination you’ll find in their jackets.
Rowan Zip (three color ways). The perfect mid layer, this Merino Blend sweater is SO chic both on and off the slopes.
